Germany holding Yalda/Christmas photo event

Germany is holding a photo exhibition themed on Yalda Night and Christmas.

The event is underway in the German capital city of Berlin and wraps up on December 25.

The photos on display include images themed on churches in Iran as well as customs and traditions practiced in the country during the Yalda Night ceremony, also known as the longest night, and Christmas.

These works show the freedom of religion in Iran and the freedom of Christians to practice their own religion in Iran.

Yalda Night is an ancient festival in Iran and was celebrated this year on December 21.

Iranian Armenians are gearing up to celebrate Christmas and New Year in Iran.
